Abstract
This article, in form of criticism recension, presente the mozarab culture problem in its relation with the byzantine cultural flow. The author maintain the material rests of Santigao de Peñalba, Santa María de Lebeña, San Miguel de Escalada and San Cebrián de Mazoote are attestation of the restoration of the christian cult and the rehabilitation of the preislamic time buildings. Rest and buildings seem document the byzantine cultural centre about the ancient diocese of Astorga.
