Elementos de puerta en la arquitectura ibérica
Abstract
This paper puts forth a new interpretation of a polished stone found durign the excavation of the access to the inner building of Cancho Roano, this stone, a diorite, has already been published as the pivot of a potter´s wheel. Notwhitstandig, its use as the swivel point of a door seems to be sufficiently proven. Other objects of a similar nature found in different sites of the Iberian Peninsula support this interpretation and its long use in iberian architecture.
