The publications about roman age military camps in Spain seem to limited and too old actually. We lack of linked publications about defensive elements built up in those areas. I have tried with this work to analize critically as 0well as historically and archaelogically the existing bibliography. It is possible to extract several conclussions about the roman military fortresses in Spain, which do not coincide, many times, with those observations carried out in Northern Europe settlements.
