In the following text I pretend a better understanding of the Oriental cults in the lberian Peninsula through new documents, basically numismatical. In the great majority we deal with Punic iconography related to Melkart and Tanit on the coinage of the Guadalquivir valley, but also in the mints of the Baeturia. Others, as sorne coins of Carmo (Carmona), could represent Ma-Bellona. I also discuss sorne epigraphic evidence, as an inscription from Italica dedicated to Ma. In relation with this divinity, Cybeles, and the new material from the excavations in El Trampal (Cáceres) I deal also with Ataecina's worship. Some coins of Carthagonova testify an oficial introduction of the Isis cult in the city on Augustus time.
