Abstract

Archaeological research has traditionally considered that Iberian aristocracy showed its social status through the deposition of the finesh objects in the graves. Nevertheless, gold is basically absent of funerary contexts. This paper propases to consider gold as an object of highest value, fundamentally involved in iberian systems of heritage and transmission of power.
