I tray to show that Numismatic can be a very useful document on territorial delimitation studies: ethnic. political, economic, social and religious. lt also played in the Antiquity an important role in the image that a polítical city or ethnic territory acquired voluntary, or involuntary, for examplc the «jinete ibérico» and the Sicilian coins Hispanorum.
