In 1994 the remains of the Roman theater of Colonia Patricia (Córdoba) were discovered under the building of the Museo Arqueológico Provincial. This precise location allows us to re-examine the epigraphical discoveries of the neighbourhood into their original context and to increase our knowledge about the monument and the society that erected and used it in the Augustan era.
