Abstract

This paper deals with several inscriptions found in the Tolmo de Minateda (Hellín, Albacete) in the last years. Some of them belong to a monumental inscription dated in 9 bC, which must commemorate the concession to the town —perhaps Ilunum— of a privileged statute, in a similar way to the process of municipalization in other towns of the Meseta. There are also several types of funerary steles, which forms and personal names attest relations with the Alta Andalucía and the interior of the Peninsule.
