The aim of this paper is to present some tendencies and working areas within the Landscape Archaeology, First, an approach to the diverse landscape records is proposed — the economic space, territory and perception—, next their historical synthesis in the landscape, as the space of social relations. The global methodological approach incorporates a series of research strategies among which we have pointed out the close connection with the Geoarchaeology and the essential role of the archaeological survey in the recognition and study of the off-site record.
