Study of the diffusion of the Roman imperial portraits and statues in the I. Peninsula mainly based on the epigraphical evidence in different contexts, from Augustus to Theodosius. This method of analysis reveals more clearly than others the diffusion of the imperial image in coloniae, municipia or villae and the different types adopted for the representation of the Emperor and his family during the period of the Roman presence in the Spanish provinces.
